over again

Nature falls in love with herself and
over again
for she understands
that death
is just a word that means
for now
we are separated
by some atmosphere.
And she laughs through a series
of monologues
finding the most resourceful
state of being
to surround her conic clouds
as the road upon which
airplanes fly.
She falls but not like water
as she gives up
the right
to watch us
like bees to wildflowers
gather warmth and all the yellow
as we attempt to capture light
the way
glass captures fingerprints.
For those who wait
she dances as the tide unraveling itself and
over again
she holds the hands
of those who
hold the universe
within their dimpled smiles
and she falls in love
beyond the realm
of all that we can see.
